Hello everyone,

I'm just reading the first novel about DCI George Gently by Alan Hunter. One of the paragraphs begins with „Gently made the suspicion of a bow and flipped the peppermint cream from his thumb to his mouth”. What does „suspicion of a bow” mean in this context?

Thank you in advance,
Ula
