Hello everyone,

Is there a difference between these sentences in terms of meaning when we change the preposition?

This is worth a lot to me.

This is worth a lot for me.

This is really important for me.

This is really important to me.

Hello everyone,

1. This is worth a lot to me. :tick:
2. This is worth a lot for me. :cross:

3. This is really important for me. :tick:
4. This is really important to me. :tick:

I'm about to go out so don't have time to explain the slight difference between 3 and 4. However, as you can see, #2 doesn't work.

Could you kindly explain the difference now?
