Are the sentences below correct? Do they mean the same?

1. She wrapped the baby in a blanket.
2. She wrapped the baby up in a blanket.

Which the sentences are more natural?

Both are fine. Rover would have said so if they weren't. What does "sth" mean?

Sometimes we say "swaddled".

The baby was swaddled in a blanket.

She swaddled the baby in a blanket.

--lotus

Swaddling a baby is wrapping it very tightly in cloth to prevent all movement.

Wrapping it in a blanket is just to keep it warm.

Thanks for all the questions but I mean is the 3rd statement correct and does it mean the same as 1st and 2nd statement?

1. She wrapped the baby in a blanket.
2. She wrapped the baby up in a blanket.
3. She wrapped up the baby in a blanket.

#3 is not as natural as the other two.
