What are the tenses that are associated with the words today and this week?

1- I take the bus to go to the university today.
2- I took the bus to go to the university today.
3- I take the bus to go to the university this week.
4- I took the bus to go to the university this week.

"I take" works only with "every day" or "regularly" (or similar) but not with "today" or "this week". In 1 and 3, you could use "I'm taking" or "I'm going to take".
2 and 4 are OK.

Note that we'd say "I'm taking/I took the bus to [the] university ...". You don't "go to".

I go to university today.
I'm going to university today.
I have been to university today.
I went to university today.
I was going to university today.
I will go to university today.
I will be going to university today.

All these tenses are possible. It's usually not a good strategy to try to associate particular time phrases with particular tenses.
