Transformation of sentence

I listen to music whenever I want to relax.

Is either sentence correct if I transform the above sentence as follows?

1. Listening to music makes me relaxed.

2. Listening to music relaxes me.

In #1, I would say "makes me feel relaxed". #2 is fine.
 
Or "Makes me relax"
