What do you call a business magnet ? ( a big gun in the field of business )
does the word "tiecon" carries the same meaning as "tycoon" or some other meaning?

"Magnate" not "magnet."

"Tycoon" is a word. "Tiecon" (or "tiecoon") is not a word.

You have confused magnet with magnate.
The word is tycoon. I´ve never heard tiecon. Have you looked it up?

Magnet is a maker of kitchen furniture (Kitchen Units and Fitted Kitchens - Stunning Designs from Magnet ;-)) - which, I suppose, might be run by a magnate. If so, I'd call him a tycoon.

('Tiecon' has the ring of one of those updated transcriptions that plague editors, like Bei-jing or Mumbai or Kampuchea. But - unlike those - I've never heard of it.)
