Could you tell me why it is "upload from"?

I would say "download from the Net". Or "upload to the Net". But this confuses me.
 
It's definitely wrong. Only "download from the net" would work. You can't upload anything to your set-top box.
 
I think it's right.

I take it to mean that you upload content from the internet to the TV system. The content comes from the internet. He's saying that as of yet, you can't upload to your set-top box, but that may all change in the future.
 
In the modern context "upload" is an error. But the original was evidently written a very long time ago, when the Internet was new. I would speculate that the distinction between uploading and downloading had yet to be clearly made.
