Is your daily social media usage higher than average?
The video site does not require users to log in to an account to browse its content, which allows it to “leapfrog Facebook to take first place”, with 81pc of all internet users saying they have visited the website in the last month, compared to 73pc who visit Facebook.

However, adults prefer Facebook, with 37pc of all respondents saying the Zuckerberg-founded network is the “coolest”, compared to 22pc who picked YouTube and just 6pc who selected Instagram.

Please compare the red part with the blue part.

The red part is used in the present tenses while the blue part is in the
past tense. I don't know why. Could you tell me?

Kadioguy, I have removed a lot of the text which was irrelevant to your post.

All those tenses are justified.

Let's see:
- have visited in the last month (recent action ---> present perfect).
- who visit Facebook (habitual action ---> present simple).
- picked YouTube and selected Instagram (actions in a past survey/questionnaire ---> past simple)
