[Grammar] using article

Please help me to understand the use of articles, I always refer to grammar book but still it is not clear to me
1.
The above student has applied to the practical training of the college of information technology, university of ABC, to do his/her training, Which is a requirement for graduation from ………

Why we added (a) before requirement, we know and it’s clear to us the reason for the training.
We add (a) before singular unknown noun, but here the noun and the reason is known, to us, so why we add (a).


2.
This course is designed to equip a manager with the knowledge.

Is it correct to say:
to equip managers
to equip the managers

What is the explanation for this

3.
This course is designed to equip a manger with the knowledge, conceptual frameworks, skills, and experience needed to understand and mange individual, group, and organization performance.

Why they do not add a before individual ( I think what is applied on manager word should be applied on the word or the noun individual ( an individual)

What is the explanation for this

4.
Each student will select one article related to the course and give a five- to ten-minute oral report.

Is it we use a before five to ten minute because a five is adjective to the oral report??

Is it correct to say here five to ten minute without adding the article (a).

Is it always we add article a, an, the before the adjectives of nouns.

Such disruptive behavior will result in a reduction in your participation grade.

Is it we say a reduction because it is adjective?? Am I correct????

What is the rule here//

Why the is added to information and workplace?

Why we did not add the to employees

So is it correct to say the employees

Individual + performance :
This is an abstract noun phrase and shouldn't be preceded by articles.

Of course. Some grammars consider it to be an adjective and other say it's a noun phrase. In either case, and as you mentioned, it modifies oral report.

-He is a good boy.
Now, can we say: he is good boy?
The role of good in the above sentence is similar to the role of five- to ten-minute in your sentence. Simplifying such structures can be hepful.

Because it's referring to a particular piece of information. If the comes before an uncountable noun, the noun refers to a known entity.
And, the workplace has already been introduced to the reader. So it's known to the reader and it isn't an unknown entity to the reader anymore.

Why we did not add the to employees
Because we're talking about employees in general. If you add the to the word, you'll suggest that you know the employees in person. As though they are your friends or colleagues.

So is it correct to say the employees
Not here.

Is it they did not add a before few because of the plural (days)

I don't understand what exactly mean here? Few means not many, and a few means a small number of something. Few can be used to emphasize how small a number is.

I understand that articles are existent in Arabic, so your knowledge of them may interfere with English grammar rules. You have to distinguish the similarities and differences existing between the two languages.
