waiting long or waiting for long

I was wondering if both ways are grammatically correct:
1. Have you been waiting long?
Have you been waiting long for me / him / them?

2.Have you been waiting for long?
Have you been waiting for long for me/him/them?

I appreciate your help.

"Have you been waiting for long?" is okay, I guess.

"Have you been waiting for me?" is certainly possible in the right context.

Also, you could say: "Have you been waiting a long time?"

If you want to incorporate the idea of "waiting long" and "for me/him etc", I'd change the word order to:

Have you been waiting for me long?
