Two friends in New York. One of them tells the other that he has bought two tickets to a sports game in LA. The game is next week.

Friend 1: ...so I bought two tickets.

Friend 2: Are you joking with me? That's fantastic. Why are you only telling me now?

Friend 1: Well, I didn't know if you'd want to go/come.

Friend 2: Are you kidding me? Of course I want to go/come.

Which one of 'go' and 'come' is natural here? And is the single word enough here or would it be more natural if I added maybe 'with me' to either 'go' or 'come'? Thanks.

As the verb carries the meaning of 'accompany', I think 'come' is more natural. I'd add 'with me'.

Abe: Well, I didn't know if you'd want to go.
Bob: Of course I want to go.

I would think Abe was pretty sure Bob would want to go to the game, or why did he by two tickets?

I think Abe was planning all along for both him and Bob to go to the game.

Abe bought two tickets because he was sure Bob would want to go to the game.
