Hi msrn.2009

Pushkar forgoes sweat equity but legal tangle ahead
Pushkar forgoes perspirate equity, but authorize mixed ahead

forego = do without or cease to hold or adhere to
sweat equity = the equity that is created in a company or some other asset as a direct result of hard work by the owner(s)

tangle = confuse, enmesh

I had never heard "sweat equity" before, but the previous poster's suggestion seems feasible.

I can only assume that this was a newspaper headline or something similar given the lack of verbs in the sentence!

If that is the case, then it means that someone (a company?) has decided to forego (go ahead without using/considering) the "sweat equity" but that there is going to be a legal problem in the future.

That's the best I can do with a rather odd sentence.
