do you consider landing a process?
Yes, according to the following definition:
Landing: the process of moving a plane down onto the ground at the end of a journey.

When the process is going on, you may say that the plane is arriving.

My examples were just to illustrate that the past continuous tense does not apply to a non-continuous action. You could have been more constructive by giving better examples.
'Found' is a non-continuous action in 'I just found an example'.

I think this is just being pedantic and is nitpicking.
Then let the matter drop.
