Can one use #1 and #2 instead of #3 and #4 respectively?

1) I love a list.
2) We all love a list.

3) I love lists.
4) We all love lists.

I don't know why I don't find the first two very natural, but I find these two fine:

5) I love a good detective movie.
6) He loves a fair fight.

2 and 4 aren't natural. You can't speak for everyone else in the world.

Thank you very much, Rover KE,

I might be talking about a small group of people (my family, me and my friends, me and my classmates, etc.)

2 and 4 aren't natural. You can't speak for everyone else in the world.
I disagree with Rover for once. We can't speak for everyone else in the world, but many of us do.

We'd normally expect some kind of modifier before the noun in #1 and #2 (compare to #5-#6), but I agree they're fine. Maybe that's what bothers you about them.

"I love a good X" is so common it's almost a set phrase, so I expect to hear it in #1 and #2, but the omission doesn't make them wrong or unnatural.

Thank you all very much,

Skrej, you're absolutely right! I couldn't figure out why they bothered me. I thought the word 'list' was the problem, but actually it was the absence of a modifier.
