ULTIMATE GUIDE

Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder

[...]

The hope is that now the game has finally made it home, and the emulation issues have been ironed out, we could see it released for other systems. Would it be unreasonable to expect a System 32 collection from Sega, headlined by RODA and including other ‘lost’ titles like OutRunners, Stadium Cross and SegaSonic The Hedgehog?

a. We could see it released for other systems.

b. We could see it released to other systems.

Why is (a) used in the original? Is (b) also OK?

A friend told me: I definitely prefer (a). For here is the purpose. To here is the recipient. I guess you could technically say the consoles are recipients but that sounds a bit off to me.

But I still think that (b) is not bad. What do you think?

It's released for other platforms. If it's being offered in a new market — Poland, for instance — it's being released to that market.
