Is either 'at' or 'in' correct and does the underlined part sound idiomatic?
Context: I am talking about some good memories.
My friend studied at/in Odessa State Maritime Academy and in/on (I think "on" isn't used in this meaning) his second year after passing all the exams we established a tradition of travelling together with the other classmates to interesting places nearby. We had a mobile home which saved our money on travel tickets and hotels.

If you're asking us to choose between them, ask it as I've shown above.
If you think they might both be possible, say "Are both "at" and "in" correct?

See above.
In BrE, we say that people studied at a particular university or college.
Use "in" in this context.
