I am wondering if it is correct to use "well-sewn" in my sentences. Would you please correct my mistakes?

1. Her dress was expensive and well-sewn.
2. His tailoring shop was known by his well-sewn and well-made suits

It's possible, but "well-made" is more natural. Sewing is one aspect of making clothes; most people would be more interested in the overall process than a single part of it.
