Tonight I went to an English club. I sat next to a college student. She noticed that I was looking at her browsing at her phone (She was browsing on the phone.) and she asked me if I was single. I said “Yes”. The she pointed to the app. Perhaps because her spoken English wasn’t good she just pointing at the app. I then said:

What’s the name of the app? What’s it for?

She then told me in Chinese that it is an app for dating men and women.

Is my question natural?

She then told me (in Chinese) that it is an app for heterosexual/straight dating. men and women.
