Hi there, What’s the meaning of the following sentence:
First of all, you should make a pi in my name, ...
Thank you and have a nice day.

Who said it, and where? What’s the larger paragraph it’s a part of?

We’d need more context to make sense of it.

My colleague had a customer, they wrote to discuss some business, and she didn’t understand the sentence posted above, she just came to me and asked me the meaning of the sentence. I didn’t know the context. Now it’s clear: she told me the customer was in fact asking her to deliver the goods by air. But why? We are both confused by the expression.

I wonder if "pi" was supposed to have been capitalised and that "P.I." means something in some sort of jargon that meant something to the writer.

The customer wrote: “Please tell the fright amount also ... delivery to Foshan lecong freight cost including your PI”
Thank you very much

We're all just guessing. I suggest your colleague contacts the customer for clarification.

I'd bet dollars to doughnuts it stands for 'purchase invoice'.

If that's right, it should have been capitalised.
