I want to describe this place. What are these arched columns called?

There was a hallway lined by a wall on the right and arched columns to the left. There was a yard to the left of those arched columns.

I wouldn't say the columns themselves are arched. Instead, two columns form one arch.

I wouldn't worry about the columns at all. Just all them arches or archways.

Please remember to use correct capitalization and punctuation @tedmc. I have edited your post above this time.

In my part of the world such structures are often called cloisters.
