[Grammar] What did you say your name is

Can you tell me which one of these sentences is correct.Or are they both correct?

1. What did you say your name is?
2. What did you say your name was?

2. What did you say your name was?

The second is what most would consider to be correct, and is natural. The first is acceptable, in my opinion.
