1-What does .... mean?
2-What's the meaning of ....?

I know both are correct to ask about word's meanings
but which one is more popular 1 or 2?

e.g.

1-What does snake mean?
2-What's the meaning of snake?

1-What does pig mean?
2-What's the meaning of pig?

And Is there any difference?

There is no difference. My guess is 1 is more common.

I have a small suspicion that 2 may be more common in BrE, but except for emsr2d2 our British colleagues all seem to be on vacation. I hope they are enjoying a summer of exceptionally fine weather.

On behalf of my holidaying compatriots, I can confirm that "What does xxx mean?" is certainly more common when talking about a definition of a word, particularly in language learning.

We have a set phrase or exclamation "What is the meaning of this?" which is uttered (usually shouted) when someone comes upon a situation which angers them in some way. It's very difficult to describe a situation where it would work but it's the only time that I would use "What is the meaning of ...?" naturally.

If I were to start with "What is the ..." I would almost certainly follow it with "definition" and "of the word".

What does "robotic" mean?
What is the definition of the word "robotic"?

Please note that, as emsr2d2 did, you should use inverted commas around the word you are asking about. I used the double ones here for clarity purposes, but single ones can also be used.
