What does the "go" mean in the conversation?

Andy: How do you fancy going to a posh do in the West End, champagne reception, dinner and a taxi home—all free?
Charlotte: Oh, are you asking me on a date? Sounds romantic. Hmm, what's the catch?
Andy: No catch, honest! It is a work do though. And I really don‟t wanna go by myself.

In your post, 'go' has its usual meaning.

If you mean 'What does 'do' mean?', Andy helpfully defines it for Charlotte in his first sentence.

A do is a party, dinner party, or other social event.
[mainly British, informal]
A friend of his is having a do in Stoke.
They always have all-night dos there.
Synonyms: party, gathering, function, social
