There is no doubt, as Russia's president, Putin is a very powerful man. But many don't agree with how much power and control he has in Russia, particularly over what TV reports say.



Is "agree with" naturally used here? Does it mean " consider... correct"?

It means they don't agree that he has as much power as the media suggests. They think the media is exaggerating.

I disagree with Jutfrank. It means that many people disapprove of the amount of power and control Putin has. The sentence specifically mentions one area of control -- control of what is reported on television.
