Dear teachers,

sometimes I see people writing some abbreviation words in their notes, like
maths for mathematics, Eng. for English, Lit. for literature.
I am nore sure if there are any abbreviations word of Culture, if yes, what is the correct one?

Is it cult. or cul.

And I see most people prefer Eng. as the abbreviation word for English, is it correct? Since I see my tecaher writing ENGL instead.

Please help, teachers.

Thank you.

If there is one it's probably "cult."
"Eng." is the usual abbreviation for English, though in France they tend to use "Engl.".
