Hello everyone,

I have a question [STRIKE]please[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]&[/STRIKE] and I hope you [STRIKE]could[/STRIKE] can help me.

What is the difference between:

"In view of the importance of"
[STRIKE]&[/STRIKE] and
"In regard to the importance of"
[STRIKE](OR)[/STRIKE] "In regards to the importance of"

Thank you so much. :)

Please see my amendments to your post above.

We don't say "In regard to" or "In regards to". We usually say "With regard to ..."

Thank you for your reply :)

What about "In view of..." is it OK to use it at the beginning of the sentence.

I searched Google for "In regards to the importance of" and about 55,000,000 results were found. I think this means that it is used, right?

Can I start the sentence with "In regards to the importance of"?

I have just got 285 million google hits for "ain't". That doesn't make it acceptable in standard English

Can I start the sentence with "In regards to the importance of"?
We don't say 'in regards to' in BrE, as emsr2d2 has already noted.
