What is the meaning of "grow dull"?

What is the meaning of "grow dull"?

A person said to another, "Now you grow dull" after he had said some talk.

My best guess would be that it means "Now you are becoming boring" but without context (ie the preceding few lines) it's hard to be sure. Where did you find the quote (source and author please)?

a- I think it must be hard for "so greater queen" as I heard it or "so a great queen" as the transcript says. --I do not know if both were right?
to know the simple pleasure of being liked for herself.
