Hey guys, hope you are doing great.

As I mentioned in the title, I am looking for the meaning of "Jesus lives" in the following context:

In a movie, a man is dying and in his final moments, he yells and says "Jesus lives".

Does it mean that "Jesus" is eternal?

Thank you in advance.

Christians believe Jesus is God that has eternal life, i.e. lives forever.

Not a teacher.

In this case, given that he is dying, it means "It's true that Jesus still lives." That is, he has just had a pre-death experience in which he believes he has encountered Jesus.
It's also a popular saying of Christians, but in that case, it's more an assertion of a belief than an interpretation of some near-death experience.

I am not sure there is enough evidence to support any sort of vision or pre-death experience. It may have just been an expression of hope or belief.
