Hi guys, my question is that what it means when someone says "I don't really trust children as a judge of character"?

Does it mean that you can't count on what they say or they do or something?

Any help would be appreciated.

A good judge of character is a person who is able to correctly determine what kind of a person someone is. This is usually with reference to being honest, nice, trustworthy, loyal, ethical, etc. Children often do not have enough experience or maturity to be good judges of character.
