Hi, there. Any help is appreciated here.
This is almost a silk adventure.
In this sentence, what does “silk” mean?
I think it means "smooth or not dangerous". Am I right?
In the novel the Godfather, there is a sentence that goes like this:
The fee was so enormous that Vito Corleone cut back drastically on his oil business to use the trucks almost eclusively for the service of the bootlegger-smugglers. This despite the fact that these gentlemen had accompanied their offer with a silky threat.
Right here waiting for your reply. A world of thanks.

I have been waiting for your answer for almost one month, but there is none. I am confused.

A silky threat is a dangerous threat, but delivered in a calm and gentle way. It's not clear to me without more context what a silk adventure means, I'd guess that it is one that is going smoothly.

This is difficult to answer because of the lack of context.
The Silk Road was an important network of trade routes that extended from southern Europe and the Middle East to the Indian sub-continent, southeast Asia and China. To travel on one of these routes was certainly a great adventure, as the trip was usually made in a caravan of horses, camels or other beasts of burden. Even today, some tour companies sell Silk Road adventure packages, generally featuring central Asia and China. So, my guess is that a silk adventure could be one in which you pass through or become acquainted with various exotic places and cultures. I hope you don't find this too far-fetched.
You can find a nice entry on the Silk Road in Wikipedia.
