In the context of the below, What is the meanning of "Divided in one week increments?"

In this demonstration you will follow the steps to run a usage report for the SDVS Company eRoom, from Januanry 1 through May 1 2008, divided in one week crements.

Please kindly advise!

In my humble opinion it means each week you will learn something new (that is, each week you will take one more step to run a usage report for the SDVS Company eRoom".

I might be absolutely and completely wrong, though. Maybe someone else will be able to guide us both through these steps ;-)

I think it means that you will learn to run report detailing the activity ("usage") for one week. You will run this report for every week form Jan to May of 2008.
 
I agree- the report uses blocks of a week from the start date till the end.
