Yes, I think it's safe to say that's correct in the context of asking what a person's father does for a living, what his job is.:up: The normal question is "What does your father do?"
Yes, that's the normal question in one of the contexts I thought of too.
"He‘s a teacher. What‘s your father?‘
That's also a normal reply in that context.
