Tom: Welcome to the United States.

Mona: Thank you. I'm from Germany.

Tom: How nice! What city are you from?

Mona: I'm from Bonn.

Tom: That's the capital, isn't it?

Mona: No longer. Now it's Berlin.

Susan: Welcome to the United States. I understand that all 12 of you are

visiting from Germany. I have been told that you come from different cities,

including Berlin, Bonn, Munich, and Hamburg.

Hans: That's right.

Susan: Which city [of the four that I mentioned] are you from?

Hans: I'm from Hamburg.

Susan: Really? That's how we Americans got the name for our famous

hamburger sandwiches.

(All 12 visitors laugh very loudly.)
