Last night, I posted a picture of fireworks and countdown in my social media and I also wrote something like the following.

Whatever happened, happy or sad, good or bad, it's time to clean up slate and start a new year.

The intended meaning is: it's time to say good bye to 2024 and welcome 2025 no matter what you've experienced.

Is my italic sentence natural?

The intended meaning is no colon here that it's time to say goodbye to 2024 and welcome 2025, no matter what you've you experienced in 2024.

No. We don't "clean up a slate". You can say that "it's time to start the new year with a clean slate".

Why did you just give "something like" what you wrote? It's your social media account so you can just look at it and tell us exactly what you wrote.

Sorry, this was exactly what I wrote but in Chinese. I forgot to say this.

Is the above sentence natural?

It's OK, but I'd still add "in 2024" after "Whatever happened".
