What's wrong with the following sentence?
"Who is your mother? She is a teacher."

Please kindly advise. Thanks!!

"She is a teacher" would be an answer to a question like "What does your mother do?" If someone says "Who is your mother?" I think they would expect you to say your mother's name. ;)

Welcome to the forums, kwan.

What's wrong with the following [STRIKE]sentence[/STRIKE]?
"Who is your mother?"
"She is a teacher."

[STRIKE]Please kindly advise.[/STRIKE] Unnecessary. In any case, 'please' and 'kindly mean the same.

[STRIKE]Thanks!![/STRIKE] Unnecessary. Just click 'Thanks' when you get a useful answer.

Please read rule 6. We do not do students' homework.

You're lucky this time. (EES please note.)

Is it possible that they would expect the OP to point at her and/or describe her appearance if she is among a group of people there?

They'd probably use which in that question.
