Someone uploaded a video about two people fighted with each other in the Sam Club in Chongqing. I asked the person who uploaded the video "Where's the Sam Club in Chongqing" I wonder if my question is natural to mean "Where is the location of the Sam Club in Chongqing". I've never heard of that there's a Sam Club in Chongqing.

It's more natural to ask "Where in Chongqing is the Sam Club?"

Is the name of the club "Sam Club", "Sam's Club", "The Sam Club" or something else?

I've never heard of [strike]that there's[/strike] a Sam Club in Chongqing.

Now you have. Click HERE. It appears to be called just "Sam's Club" so you should not use the article before it.

That makes sense.

If you want to use location, this is more natural: What's the location of the Sam's Club?

Or: Where is the Sam's Club located?

But the most natural is still Where's the Sam's Club?

Charlie, there's no "the" in the name of that club. See post #4 above.

The article could be used in something like "Where's the Sam's Club you mentioned?" In BrE, we might say "And where is this Sam's Club exactly?"

It's more natural to ask "Where in Chongqing is the Sam Club?"

In this case, do I need to rephrase the question as "Where in Chongqing is Sam's club" or "Where in Chongqing is the Sam's club"?

I think the "the" is still needed because the man who uploaded the video mentioned Sam's club.

The name of the place is "Sam's Club". No article is possible.

"Sam's Club" is also an American brand of deep-discount warehouse stores with many locations. In the American context you could say, for example, "The Maharaja restaurant is just west of the Sam's Club across from Fairfield Commons." You need an article there because you're distinguishing that store from all the other Sam's Club locations.

So the right question is "Where in Chongqing is Sam's Club", am I right?

I ask only for confirmation.

That is one way of wording it. It's the way I would choose.
