Hi,

Can we use either ...or , instead of Whether ...or in this sentence? If not, why?

Whether you stay or you go, it is your decision.

Either you stay or you go, it is your decision.

Thanks in advance

The second needs a semicolon or a dash to replace the comma.

You mean in this way:

Whether you can stay or you go; it is your decision.

Is it correct now?

No. I said the second one needs a semicolon or a dash.

The first was fine, but I'd say 'Whether you stay or go is your decision'.
