Hi. Which of the following variants is more suitable? "President Ivo Josipovic of the Republic of Croatia" and "the President of the Republic of Croatia Ivo Josipovic." I am prone to the first version.

I'd say they're equally mellifluous. The second version needs a comma before the president's name, and in a sentence would need one after it.

The second possibly places a bit more emphasis on the country, as its name comes first and the person's name is separated by commas.

I always think 'mellifluous' is a more mellifluous word than 'euphonious'.
