Welcome to the forum. :hi:

I have no idea what you are trying to say but I can tell you that "... of the How of the Influencing" is grammatically incorrect. I don't do management-speak or business-speak so I don't know what "influence modality" or "knowledge management" are.

Note that thread titles should contain some or all of the words/phrases you are querying. A good title for this thread would have been "An investigation of the how".

'The how' works informally as a noun: 'We know the why and the who, but we don't know the how'. But 'the Influencing of Knowledge Management on people' doesn't make any sense (and, much to my regret, I spent much of 2002 and 2003 studying Knowledge Management). In any case, this use of 'the how' is inappropriate in the title of an academic paper.

I share Ems's bafflement at the meaning of the second title, although I recognize that 'modality' as the sort of abstract waffle generated in this area! ;-)

Abstract waffles taste better than concrete ones!

You can break a tooth on a concrete one. But pure maple syrup hides a multitude of sins.

The second is grammatically OK for a title. The first isn't because of the How of the Influencing.

'grammatically OK' in much the same way as 'Colourless green ideas sleep furiously' is grammatically OK ;-)

Grammatical isn't a synonym of comprehensible. It has words in the right place, but I have no idea what it means. ;-)
