Hello!

First, I would like to say thank you for helping me.

Second, here is my question: in the following which is better "what" or "which", please?

-Which/What is the ugliest city you know?

Thank you

If you had a list of cities and you were to choose one of them, for example,

"Tokyo, Islamabad, New York, I don't know which is the most beautiful".

Else, you would say, "What is the most beautiful city around the world".

Either one.

"Which" is usually used for when there are limited choices, and "cities you know" limits the choices. However, there are so many chocies that "What" works too.

Which, I think. And if you have to select from a list then Which of these.... You can also say ''Name the ugliest city.''
