Which sentence is grammatically right?

What about

Last night was a nightmare for me.

Last night was a nightmare for myself.

Should it be the myself as I believe this would be correct to use reflectively.

No, don't use "myself" in any of these examples. Although "correct", it is rare to hear "than I" for comparisons. Most people say "than me".

The overuse of the reflexive pronoun is widespread (and very irritating!) Many people seem to think that saying "myself" instead of "me" makes them sound more formal or more professional. They're wrong. To some of us, it simply makes them sound like they don't know how to speak their own language.

Here's one I used to hear from my colleagues at my last job:

If you need any more information, don't hesitate to call myself. :cross:
If you need any more information, don't hesitate to call me. :tick:
