I was out with some of my friends, and two of my friends were fighting together, verbally, and one of them said those two sentences:

"Who made you boss ?"

"Stop calling yourself boss"

I want to know if those two sentences mean "You are not the boss"

That would be my guess. These types of sentences come up when one peer is trying to tell another peer what to do.

Others would be:

Did I miss your promotion to boss?
Who died and left you boss?
You are not the boss of me.

In BrE, Mike's second example would be "Who died and made you the boss?"

Is "tall" a typing error? , or else, what does the sentence mean?

Yes it was a typo. It should be "tell".

Thanks for the help everyone.
