Which one is correct?

1- Who of them is your favourite footballer?

1- Which of them is your favoutite footballer?
 
Is there some group ("them") already identified?

If so, then "which of them is your favorite."

If not, then "who is your favorite."
 
Note that who of them​ is not possible.
