Are the following sentences correct?

A: Whose turn is it today to clean up the children?

B: Whose turn will it be tomorrow to do the housework?

Thanks in advance.

B is OK. I'm not sure what you mean by "clean up the children". Do you mean "give them a bath/shower"?

A. Whose turn is it today to get the kids washed up?

B. Whose turn is it tomorrow to do the housework?

Just for information, in BrE we don't use "wash up" in the same way as it's used in AmE. "To wash up" means to clean the dirty crockery and cutlery in a sink full of hot water (which I believe, in AmE, is "to wash the dishes").

Whose turn is it today to bath/bathe/shower the children?

Parents here might tell their children to "Wash up for supper" meaning that they should wash their hands (at least).

Yes, that's how I've heard it used in AmE. In BrE, that would be "Go and wash your hands before dinner".

More answers here.

Sigh.

Strangeboy, what made you post the same question on another forum 42 minutes ago, when you had posted it here 60 minutes ago? What was wrong with the answers we gave?

Sorry, there is nothing wrong with your answers. on the contrary, they're helful. I just wanted a quick response. That's why I posted the same thread on another forum.

Just don't do it simultaneously- that's where the problem begins. Give one place a chance to answer- if no one answers or the answer is inadequate, then try another. The forum world of English language learning sites has a lot of overlap, so people answering get tired of being asked the same question on the same day in many places.
