Why did you leave or why did they left you

"Why did you leave?" or "Why did they left you?"

Welcome to the forum. :hi:

Do you have a question for us?

Your title was inadequate for the forum. Titles should include some/all of the words/phrases you are asking us about. "Sentence" is not acceptable. I have changed the title so you have an example of a good title.

Note my corrections above. You need to mark out the words you are asking about in some way. I have added the relevant punctuation above in red.

Did you left is wrong.:

You left :tick:
Did you leave :tick:
You didn't leave :tick:
Did you left :cross:
You didn't left :cross:

Thank you very much sir. Thank you for teaching me.

Why did you leave?: Good.

Why did they left you?: Bad.

Why did they leave you?: Good.

Why have they left you?: Good.

Thank you very much sir. Thank you for teaching me.
The gratitude is appreciated, but we prefer that you just click "Thank". It's more efficient. :)

Thank you very much. [STRIKE]sir.[/STRIKE] Thank you for teaching me.

Please don't refer to users here as "sir". It is unnecessarily formal and it suggests that you assume we are all male. Also, there is no need to write a post to thank anyone. Simply click on the "Thank" button. It saves time for everyone.
