I'd be inclined to stress yourself rather than the wait:

Will I have to wait long?
How long will I have to wait? (as Tarheel said)
Am I in for a long wait? (This is quite informal and I don't know if it works in any other variant but BrE)

You could forget using "wait" completely and say:

What time will a table be available?
