While writing this sentence, I am getting confused between Will and Would :

"She said she would send me all the details by email." or "She said she will send me all the details by email."

Which is correct to use here - Will or Would?

The first sentence is correct. "Will" is to be changed to the past tense in a reported speech. But it doesn't mean the statement is no longer true at present.

I think 'She said she will email me all the details' is also correct if the emailing happens in the future.

Definitely She will send the email in the future. But I am still confused. Could someone please elaborate more?

If the speaker is not certain whether she will really send it, I think 'would' is preferable.

'She said she would email me, but I doubt that.'
