Are these sentences correct:

1-Worse than him are the people who support him.

2-Better than her are those who fight for her rights.

It seems to me that they are both fine.

Gratefully,
Navi.

They would normally be written as:

1. The people who support him are worse than him (or "worse than he is", to avoid repetition of "him")

2. Those who fight for her rights are better than her (or "than she is.")

I agree with Grumpy's revisions. The originals are not terribly natural. In addition there is a grammar problem (for some) in using an objective pronoun after the conjunction "than". Using "he is" and "she is" avoids that problem.

"Is" is not obligatory.

The people who support him are worse than he.
Those who fight for her rights are better than she.

However, you will hear the construction with "is" more frequently than my examples.
