What we have to say "Just imagine if you don't have to work" or "Just imagine if you fon't have to work"?

"What we have to say ...?" is ungrammatical. Come on tufguy, you know better than this.

'Fon't' means nothing to me. tufguy is going to have rewrite his question if he wants an answer. His title indicates that he intended to ask a different question from what eventually appeared.
As a fundamental rule, if one has two identical sentences, and inserts an error or typo into the second, the first will be the superior.

It is not your phone's fault. It is very easy to read what you have typed before you hit the "Submit Reply" button. You must read your posts very carefully before you press that button. Check all the spelling and then make corrections before you submit.

I don't believe that you typed "don't" and your phone changed it to "fon't".

I have edited the first post back to its original form and I have reinstated Raymott's deleted post (deleted because post #1 had been edited at a very late stage by the OP).

As Mike said, tufguy, once you have received responses to a post, even one which contains errors, please don't change the first entry. If you had received only one response, which said "Please fix the typo with the word "fon't" ", then you could have immediately fixed it. Once you have had multiple responses, the original needs to be left alone.

One idea is to wait until you're at a real keyboard to send your questions. It's too hard to make sense on a smartphone. Is there a computer you can use sometimes?

I've been accessing the forums with my smartphone, and I find typing words on the smartphone rather irritating.:-?
