Hi,
''I would rather go to the concert tonight'' she said.
1-She said that she would rather go to the concert that night.(reported days later) (This is what I have seen in the page)
But my opinion, if the sentence reported days later, we must change the time and the tense, is that right?
2- She said that she would rather have gone to the concert that night. (reported days later)
3-She said that she would rather go to the concert tonight. (reported on the same day)
Thanks...
I have read that in indirect speech, unreal past tenses after '
wish, would rather/ sooner and it is time do' not change:''I would rather go to the concert tonight'' she said.
